Oil filter Aixam Kubota

The oil filter for the moped cars from Aixam and Minauto with Kubota Z402, Z482-E4B or Z482-E5B engine is the part that keeps the engine oil clean during every circulation. The oil is pushed around by the oil pump to lubricate all moving parts of the engine, and picks up metal particles from wear, soot particles from combustion and other contaminants along the way. The filter holds these particles back before the oil flows back towards the engine, so the engine keeps running on clean lubrication.

A saturated oil filter shows up as engine oil that appears dark to almost black on the dipstick soon after an oil change (the filter no longer holds back the dirt particles), as an engine that runs unevenly or struggles to reach operating temperature on a cold start (too little lubrication due to reduced flow), or as an oil pressure warning on the dashboard while driving (the filter is blocked and the oil cannot flow through quickly enough).
