Gearbox Ligier X-Too R / S/ RS (1:11)

The gearbox for the Ligier X-Too R, S and RS is the part in the drivetrain that transfers the engine's power through the CVT to the drive shafts that turn the wheels. This version has a gear ratio of 1:11, which means the output shaft of the gearbox turns eleven times slower than the input shaft coming from the CVT. That gives the moped car enough pulling power to move off from a standstill and build up smoothly to its top speed.

A worn gearbox shows up as a grinding or grating sound that gets louder during acceleration (internal gears or bearings are worn), as visible oil marks under the moped car at the spot where the gearbox sits (the seals are leaking), or as a moped car that no longer moves off smoothly from a standstill and needs noticeably more throttle to get up to speed (the transmission no longer runs efficiently due to internal wear). This gearbox is by Bonq and technically equivalent to the original part.

Suitable for the Ligier X-Too R, X-Too S, X-Too RS and Optimax with 1:11 gear ratio.
