Engine / Gearbox Mount Aixam Flywheel Side

The engine/gearbox mount on the flywheel side of the Aixam and Minauto moped cars with Kubota Z402, Z482-E4B or Z482-E5B engine is the metal construction part that carries the engine and the gearbox together and fixes them to the chassis. The mount sits on the side of the engine where the flywheel is located and holds the full weight of the drive assembly in place at that point. Unlike an engine rubber, which absorbs vibrations, this mount is a solid bent metal construction that has to stay permanently in position.

A faulty engine/gearbox mount shows up as visibly cracked or bent metal on visual inspection in the engine bay (the mount can no longer withstand continuous load), as an engine or gearbox that has visibly shifted slightly from its normal position relative to the chassis (there is play in the fixing), or as a rattling or metallic clattering sound from the engine bay during acceleration (loose metal is moving under load). This engine/gearbox mount is by Bonq and technically equivalent to the original part.

Suitable for the flywheel side of the Aixam and Minauto moped cars with a Kubota Z402, Z482-E4B or Z482-E5B engine.
