Drive belt Aixam 3HP23 B1211AA1096

The 3HP23 drive belt is the original Aixam belt that runs on the engine side and the gearbox side of the CVT system and transfers the power of the engine to the wheels while driving. As soon as you apply the throttle, the engine side of the CVT sets the belt in motion, after which the belt drives the vehicle through the gearbox side. Because the belt is under constant tension and runs over the metal pulleys, this is a wear part that has to be checked and replaced at fixed maintenance intervals.

A worn drive belt shows up as a squealing or whistling sound from the engine bay during acceleration (the belt is slipping over the pulleys because it no longer has enough grip), as a moped car that pulls away weakly or unevenly from a standstill where the engine revs climb without the speed rising steadily along with them (the belt no longer transfers enough power), or as visible cracks, frayed edges or smoothed running surfaces on visual inspection. This is an original Aixam drive belt.
