Brake hose front Aixam / Grecav

The original Aixam brake hose for the front of the Aixam and Grecav moped cars is the factory-fitted hose that connects the fixed metal brake line on the chassis to the brake caliper at the front. As an original Aixam part, this hose is made to the exact prescribed sizes and fittings of the OEM brake system, which means the bends and the connections match the mounting points in the moped car precisely without any adjustment. The hose fits both the left and the right side of the front.

A brake hose that is due for replacement shows up as a hardened or stiff rubber when you gently squeeze it between thumb and forefinger (the rubber has lost its original elasticity and can crack under higher pressure), as a hose that no longer moves along smoothly when you turn the steering but pulls tight or works against the movement (internal stiffening limits the freedom of movement), or as an uneven brake feel where the moped car pulls to the left or the right under hard braking (one of the two front brakes gets less pressure than the other due to hose narrowing).
